COURSE:

DURATION OF COURSE: 4 hour format

PROGRAM GOALS
Note: Training will be equipment specific for Pendulum Control Crane or Truck Mounted Crane

The purpose of this classroom and practical hands-on training course is to increase employee awareness of the safety, engineering principles and safe operating practices regarding lifting equipment.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
At the completion of this training session, the participants will be acquainted with the following information:

• Crane operations Code of Safe Practices
• Engineering principles
• Inspection of maintenance requirements
• Lifting devices – chains, wire rope, slings and synthetic slings
• Operational testing
• Practical performance

At the conclusion of the class, each participant will take a written examination and complete a course evaluation.
