COURSE: Industrial Power Truck  “Train-the-Trainer” Program

DURATION OF COURSE: 2 days

PROGRAM GOALS
To participate in this class, one must posses a current Forklift Operator Certificate and be able to communicate and present information in front of a class.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
At the completion of this training session, the participants will be able to conduct in-house Industrial Power Truck Training and be acquainted with the following information:

DAY 1

  • Legal requirements
  • The communication process
  • Adult learning theories
  • Teaching techniques
  • Developing goals & objectives
  • Course administration
  • Managing problems

DAY 2

  • Forklift - Pretest
  • OSHA Standards review
  • Manual orientation
  • Utilizing visual aids
  • Battery & propane safety
  • Practical Exam
  • Student 5 minute presentation

At the conclusion of the class, each participant will take a written examination and complete a course evaluation.

Note: Purchase of Instructor Manual and videos will be necessary to conduct future classes.
