Provides essential information for those who are likely to witness or discover a hazardous substance release. Consists of procedures, methods and techniques of recognizing and identifying hazards and initiating the appropriate emergency response. First responders at the operations level respond to releases or potential releases of hazardous substances as part of the initial response. Their defensive role is to contain the release from a safe distance, keep it from spreading, and prevent exposures without actually trying to stop the release.

Provides likely first responders with an improved capability to respond to the Haz Mat events in a safe and competent manner, within the response resources and responder capabilities at the "Operations" Level.

A technical course designed to provide regulations covering personnel involved in investigation and remediation of hazardous waste sites. Iincludes hands-on exercises with field instruments and PPE. Lectures include hazard awareness, classes of hazardous material, site safety, levels of protection, medical and emergency considerations, site safety plans, sources of information, and decontamination procedures.
8 Hour Hazardous Waste Refresher for 40 Hour, T8 CCR 5192 - 29 CFR 1910.1200
Required for hazardous waste workers who have previously completed a 40-hour health and safety program. Provides an update on current health and safety issues, PPE, emergency procedures and considerations and new information on hazardous materials

7 Hour D.O.T. Driver Safety Training Title 49, CFR 172 Department of Transportation
Course is intended for all drivers who transport hazardous material in over-the-road vehicles. Since the majority of hazardous materials are transported by motor vehicles, and the majority of hazmat accidents are on the nation's highways, all over-the-road vehicle drivers must participate in Driver Training, General Awareness, Function-Specific and Safety training.
