JSA is a proactive approach to incident prevention. JSA’s is the best way to address accidents and injuries in the work place before they happen. This is accomplished by identifying potential unsafe conditions or associate actions present in the work environment and taking the steps to control or eliminate them. To put it simply, the goal of a Job Safety Analysis is to determine the safest way to properly perform a task no matter what department or area of the property it is performed. JSA’s are equally important in the Kitchen, Laundry, Maintenance, Landscaping, Front Desk, and Housekeeping. A properly executed JSA program: Identifies potential hazards involves workers in job safety increases hazard awareness establishes safe work practices and fosters a productive work environment.
