Class Objectives:
At the completion of this training session, the participants will be acquainted with the following information:
- Noise: its effect on health
- Noise level measurement
- Causes of hearing loss
- Noise control methods
- Hearing Protection selection, fitting and care
- Physiology of hearing
- Purpose of Audiometric Testing Article 105
At the conclusion of the class, each participant will take a written examination and complete a course evaluation.
ANNUAL REFRESHER TRAINING IS REQUIRED BY LAW.
NOTE: Noise level surveys and mobile on-site audiometric testing are also available.
