This program will provide individuals with safety responsibilities the current methods of safety program management and a solid comprehension of Title 8 California Code of Regulations 3203. First Session
- Legal aspects of occupational safety and health
- Accident causes and methods of control
- Review of company’s Safety Program and discuss strategies for improvement
- Safety committee organization
Second Session
- Fundamentals of safety and accident prevention
- Hazard recognition
- Safety inspections
Third Session
- Job safety analysis
- Conducting employee training and documentation
- Accident investigation
- Supervisors’ responsibility in accident prevention
Fourth Session
- Overview of regulatory and program requirements for Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, Emergency Preparedness and Hearing Conservation
- Review/Written Exam
At the conclusion of the class, each participant will take a written examination and complete a course evaluation.
